Which Type Of Apple Do You Like Bestππ?
After our wonderful trip to Long Meadow Farm, Primary 1 pupils decided to investigate which type of apples they prefer to eat.
We used our sense of sight to look at the colours of the apples. We had a green Granny Smith, a light green/yellow Golden Delicious and a red Braeburn apple. Most pupils agreed that they liked the look of the green or red apple best.
We then used our sense of smell to smell the apples. After that, we used our sense of taste to find out which apple was our favourite. Some children thought that the Granny Smith apple was too sour. The overall favourites were the Braeburn and Golden Delicious apples.
Children recorded their findings by colouring in one of these faces:
‘I like it a lot’ π
’It’s ok’ π
‘I don’t like it at all’ βΉοΈ.
