What Have P1 Been Learning in September?
Our Primary 1 pupils are enjoying their first month in primary school.
In Numeracy we have been exploring shapes, sorting for colour/size and learning all about the number 1 as well as counting/recognising other numbers.
In literacy the children have been practicing making/writing their names as well as reciting and sequencing nursery rhymes.
Children have been using ICT both on computers and iPad and they have loved PE sessions.
Each child also designed their own Armagh jersey and coloured in the Armagh crest in anticipation of the Sam Maguire trophy visiting school next week.
We have included a snap shot of some photos to give an insight into our busy classroom.
