Water Bus Visit to P5,6 and 7 đ§đĻ
We were delighted to welcome Pat from Northern Ireland Water, who came to school today to talk to us about using water.
We learned that water is a precious resource and even though the world’s population has increased, the amount of water we have at our disposal has not so therefore we must be mindful not to waste it. Pat suggested ways in which we can use water sensibly, encouraging us to share the ideas with our families to implement the suggestions at home.
P5,6,and 7 are determined to turn off the tap while cleaning our teeth, avoid single use plastic and to take shorter showers đ
Pat also discussed the water cycle which first began 3.8 billion years ago! And how our seas have become full of plastic âšī¸ he gave us reusable water bottles.
Our message for all is RESPECT WATER and Refill Free to Clean the Sea! Use the new water bottles đ
