To finish our topic ‘The People Who Help Us’, the Fire Fighters from Armagh Community Fire Station came to visit the Primary 1 pupils. The children got to see all of the equipment on the fire engine and they found out what it is used for. They also got to sit inside the fire engine and some children tried on the Fire Fighters’ helmets (which were very heavy). To finish off our visit, the children each got a turn to spray water out of the hoses.
