Following on from the fabulously successful Bingo Night, the PTA have decided to run one final event for the year. The Summer Festival and Colour Run will be held on Friday 21st June from 6pm-8pm in the school and is open to families of the school and the wider community. The event will include a live DJ, water games/events, bouncy castles and lots more. The evening will then be rounded off with some warm-up activities led by Healthy Kidz to get us ready for the COLOUR RUN! There will be tea & coffee, light refreshments, some hot food and ice-cream for sale on the night.
There will be two levels of entry to the event;
1. SPONSORED ENTRY - Those pupils taking part through the sponsored entry will be given a treasure hunt to complete with a sweet bag for each completed answer sheet, a token for a complimentary healthy fruit snack, a token for a complimentary hot food item from the Bar-B-Que and a plain white t-shirt to wear in the colour run! or
2. WALK-IN ENTRY – Entry on the night will cost £10 per participating child and will cover entry to the festival and the colour-run itself.
All in all, this promises to be a HUGE event that will celebrate and mark the end of the year. We are asking for a minimum sponsorship of £20 per child, or £50 per family of three or more. Completed forms should be returned to the school no later than Friday 17th May to be considered for ‘Sponsored Entry’ and to receive the participants’ pack which will contain tokens for the complimentary items listed above. The packs will be given out the week before the event!
