The pupils in Primary 1 have been exploring and learning about igloos. We then decided to design and construct our own igloos out of sugar cubes and PVA glue. We built up 4 layers of sugar cubes ensuring not to add too much glue as this would of made the sugar cubes dissolve. We then filled the centre of the igloo with cotton wool and built the sugar cubes over the top of this. Our igloos are on display in our porch area beside our foam polar bears.
