We were thrilled to be able to host our annual sports day on Friday past thanks to the beautifully sunny weather and excellent setup by Mr. Cullen. With each pupil already assigned to a colour coded team from our house awards system, we were able to quickly allocate zones to each team in which pupils participated in a variety of up to 6 different fun games and sports per zone. The leadership skills of our older pupils then shone through as they led and guided the younger pupils throughout the day.
After lunch we all enjoyed a delicious ice-cold treat, thanks to the very generous support of Mr. Lee of the Board of Governors, and we finished off the day with some competitive races and events for our P4-P7 classes. All in all it was a fabulous day and one that will live long in the memory!
A final word of thanks to everyone who helped with the preparation for the day, Coach Conan of Healthy Kidz included. We also want to thank Dessie's of Armagh for their continued support and sponsorship of the medals and prizes that will now be presented to the pupils at assembly on Wednesday.
