Shrove Tuesday in School
There were beautiful smells of freshly baked pancakes and a little sweet sugar and lemon in school this Tuesday past as we prepared for the beginning of the Lenten Season by making pancakes. Not only did we all get the chance to make and enjoy delicious pancakes but the boys and girls also designed their most imaginative pancakes ever and completed many other pancake themed activities. Check out the wonderful photos to see how much everyone enjoyed the day!
pictured below are just some of the pupils who were in the hall to make and enjoy their pancakes!
we want to take the opportunity to pay Fr. Brennan an extra special word of thanks for also making it into school to anoint everyone with ashes on Ash Wednesday. It was great to have him back in school and the pupils were all very delighted to see Fr. Brennan. Go Rabin maith agat a Athair!
