P6/7 joined with their friends from Derryhale P.S. to take part in a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) activity morning. With the help of scientist, Gerard Hughes from Sentinus, the children made wind turbines. Opportunities were provided for the children to experiment with the turbines’ propellers.
