'Seachtain na Gaeilge' Kicks Off in Style!
We had a brilliant day in school today starting our #snag2022 Seachtain na Gaeilge programme of events. First up every child in school spent time in the hall with Mrs. Fearon's class learning the 'Tonnta Thoraí - Waves of Tory' céilí dance - hopefully the weather will be kind and we'll be able to perform it as a whole school on Wednesday - fingers crossed.
Next it was back to class to learn some simple Irish phrases and put the finishing touches on various St. Patrick's day themed arts and crafts activities. Everything from digitally designed bookmarks to shamrock themed art pieces. Below is just a small sample of the variety of learning activities enjoyed by the pupils. Much more to follow before the end of the week!
