Science Day at the Navan Cenre
We had a wonderful day exploring the whacky world of Science on a whole school trip to the Navan Centre on Monday.
The children observed and participated in a superb Science show in the Navan Theatre. Here they explored things
like gravity, motion and forces.
Groups then rotated and children got to witness the old favourite - an errupting volcano. Children were also investigating science through music along some balloon motion fun.
The final rotation allowed children to witness how Science was used in the past to make gun powder and how it was used during wars.
The children thoroughly enjoyed each of the three themes and to top it off, they had fun seeing some of our staff members dressed up as sumo-wrestlers during a push and pull experiment.
A big thank you to the staff at the Navan Centre for a fun filled day.
