Rock Your Socks Day
24th Mar 2025
We were thrilled as ever to celebrate the international 'Rock Your Socks Day' event last Friday in which we acknowledge and celebrate everyone around the world who has Down Syndrome. According to the event organisers' website, most people have two copies of chromosome 21 whereas those with three copies of chromosome 21 have Down syndrome. Therefore, this is why we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March each year and encourage people to Rock Your Socks on this date.
We were delighted that so many within our school had their weird and wonky odd socks on and the photos show just how much fun everyone had.
