R.N.L.I Water Safety Talk
We are very grateful for the volunteer lifeguards of the R.N.L.I. who came out to visit the school recently to help the boys and girls learn about staying safe in and around water as part of our Preventative Curriculum programme in school.
The children were all very eager to learn about the main lessons of how to avoid dangers when in or near water and also what to do in the unfortunate event that they may be in trouble in water or indeed spot someone else in trouble. The colourful presentation was a huge hit with them all and we went back to our classes to follow up top with PDMU lessons exploring the main themes and messages.
A huge word of thanks to the volunteers who came in and we hope to see them again in the new school year!
