Relatives' Day 2025
To help us co-celebrate Catholic Schools Week and the arrival of Spring with St. Brigid's day, we combined the two events to host a wonderful Relatives' Day last week. The school hall and grounds were simply packed thanks to the fabulous turnout of grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, siblings and many more relatives of the pupils. We started our morning off with a beautiful Daily Mile walk in the crisp air before heading back to the hall for some much needed tea/coffee. As we were enjoying the light refreshments, our P6 and P7 pupils were fast at work making St. Brigid's crosses for the visiting crowd and we were able to send every boy and girl home with a cross by the end of the day. And to round the event off, our brilliant choir and tin whistle group treated us to a wonderful rendition of 'We Sing A Song to Brigid.'
All in all it was a wonderfully fun and enjoyable occasion and another great way for the school to build and strengthen it's community and parish links, all for the benefit of the pupils in the school.
Roll on next year where we hope to see the morning become even more popular and enjoyable!
