Primary 1 Working Hard
Primary 1 have entered their second term of school and they are working harder than ever. Our little ‘mathletes’ have been exploring the numbers 6 and 7 and have been ordering the numbers 1-7 by making steps using cubes.
Pupils have also investigated heavy and light objects using both feel and the Pan Balance Scales. They are using the vocabulary heavy, light and balanced correctly.
Pupils have progressed from making patterns using 2 colours such as red, blue, red, blue to making more complex patterns e.g red, red, blue, red, red, blue.
As part of out new topic ‘The Arctic’, the children have enjoyed some themed art as well as learning through play.
We hope you enjoy our pictures.
