As part of our topic ‘People Who Help Us’, Primary 1 pupils were excited to visit Armagh Fire Station to help them gain a better understanding of the important roles that our Firefighters have within our community. Pupils had the opportunity to take a tour of the fire station and to look around a fire engine. The pupils loved having the chance to use the fire hose to spray water and to see all of the equipment needed by the firefighters.
We would like to extend a big thank you to Watch-Commander Kevin McAuley and all of the firefighters in Armagh for hosting our visit.
Thank you also to our lovely bus driver Jim who is also one of the ‘People Who Helps Us’. Without him, we never could have gotten into Armagh for our trip.
