Here at St Oliver Plunkett's P.S the pupils have many opportunities to become involved with planting fruit, vegetables and flowers around the school.
Over the past 2 years we have planted Peace Trees behind the new school building and we have laid some stepping stones in the area. It is hoped that in the years to come this area will emulate an outside classroom space.
We have also planted various plants and flowers within the school grounds as well as potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce and onions amongst other vegetables.
