Planting and Sowing in Full Flow
After waiting for a week or so for a turn in the weather and the arrival of warmer air, we were delighted to start our Spring planting and sowing programme with the pupils in school. After a number of weeks cultivating and carefully watching the plants in the greenhouse, the boys and girls were all able to get their hands dirty today as they took to planting and sowing around the school.
Next up is for our School Council to nominate designated pupils to look after the watering and weeding duties and everyone will have a part to play in helping to make our school a greener and more welcoming place to be.
A big thank you also to the @Portadown Wellness Centre for kindly donating some of the seeds.
We'll post further pictures over the coming days and weeks as we watch the boys' and girls' efforts come to fruition.
