Some Primary 1 children have been practicing their sounds with this fun game. Each cup has a letter written onto the bottom of it. The teacher calls out a sound and the pupils find the correct letter. They lift the cup. If there is a big pom pom underneath they score 2 points, a small pom pom scores 1 point and if there is no pom pom, then it’s zero points. When all sounds have been called out, we add up each child’s score.
