P6/7 Success At The Sentinus Young Innovators Science Fair.
Our P6/7 class were delighted to learn this week that their joint science project with Derryhale PS, has been awarded first prize at the recent Big Bang Fair held in the Ulster University in Jordanstown. The children from both schools investigated various substances to see which would make the most effective rocket fuel. The results of their various experiments were recorded, analysed and compiled to create a presentation which they presented at the Young Innovators Science Fair on 26th June 2018, to a panel of judges.
The children received a trophy and a cheque for £100. Congratulations everyone, especially to the six children who presented our project, Sinead, Rachel, Eve, Rachel, Rebeca and Jamie.
