Past Principal, Mr Mc Kee, visited the P6/7 classroom today to help make St Brigid’s crosses. In honour of St Brigid, whose feast day is celebrated on February 1st, the children used reeds to create the traditional cross associated with St Brigid. Mr Mc Kee gave a demonstration of this ancient tradition and then helped the children to make their crosses.
