Our Primary 5 and Primary 6 classes enjoyed a fabulous trip to Navan Fort last week to attend an 'Ancient Egyptian' themed interactive workshop. The boys and girls were brought back in time to learn all about some of the wonderful jewellary worn by the ancient Egyptians as well as the geography and history of the location of the Great Pyramids of Giza. In what proved to be a very busy day for the boys and girls, they enjoyed a quick lunch in the Navan Fort before travelling the short distance to Orchard Leisure Centre for their weekly swimming lessons.
As ever the pupils were exemplary in their knowledge of the topic and their behaviour on the trip. Maith sibh go léir a chairde.
