The boys and girls of P4 and P5 enjoyed a wonderful blitz today up at the Davitt's to start drawing our school year to an end. Played in lovely sunshine, the pupils played some wonderful football and their behaviour throughout the day was simply fantastic.
The day would not have happened nor would over 150 children have been able to play and enjoy their football without the help and support of all at the Davitt's club and the volunteer referees. Go raibh míle maith agaibh a chairde gaeil.
Big word of thanks also to Ciara Hughes for supplying the food for the adults and everyone who helped out in the kitchen and with the organisation of the day.
A final word of thanks to our P6s and some of the P4s/P5s who showed their leadership skills by umpiring, manning the lines and keeping an eye on everything in the stands.
