Thr Primary 4 and Primary 5 pupils have stayed behind today for the first session of the new Minecraft/Coding club. Thanks to the brilliant patience and expertise of the P5s we were able to get every pupil logged into Minecraft Education edition without any delay and the fun ensued with a simple yet explosive challenge. Each pupil was tasked with creating a simple house structure out of TNT before inviting one of their peers to detonate their creation to see if they could 'freeze' or 'crash' the device. Next week we'll be looking at working together in a shared world to collaboratively design and build a perfect playground for the school. It should be a creative and colourful session!
