The pupils in P5 - P7 were all out in force recently with their spades, shovels and trowels in hand to dig up the potatoes that were planted by Sean a few months back. Following a renewal of our sensory garden which saw the installation of a new reading corner in addition to adding new Buddy Benches to the front of the school office, the pupils were tasked with digging up the potatoes. Each and every pupil had a chance to get their hands into the dirt and pull the spuds before taking them into school to portion out and bring home for dinner!
