P3/4 visited Derryhale Primary School on Friday 17th November to participate in a STEM activity as part of our Shared Education programme.
The objective was for children to work in teams to design and construct a buggy that would travel a distance whilst carrying an egg safely onboard. After some trial and error, the children engineered some fantastic buggies using their knowledge and understanding of both Maths and Science.
Pupils in Primary 3/4 from St. Oliver Plunkett’s P.S and Derryhale P.S certainly are the ‘Inventors Of The Future’.
An EGGcellent day was had with fun and learning along the way
