We made our way to Keady High school recently to play the final qualifying round of the Cumann na mBunscol Malachy McGeeney tournament and the girls' team played amazing well, winning all of their games against some very string competition. This was the second qualifying round in the series with only one team from a group of 9 making it through to County Armagh final. Unfortunately, despite all the girls' heroics and outstanding play, they finished second in the group, having lost narrowly to the eventual qualifiers Middletown in the first game of the first qualifying round, and bowed out of the competition at this stage. We wish Middletown all the best in the upcoming final and must congratulate our own girls again for their brilliant efforts and play throughout.
