Primary 6 and 7 have registered with The Irish News to take part in their Young Newsreaders Project which is a critical media literacy project.
The children receive their newspapers every Wednesday and then read and discuss various news articles. They are learning how to understand, read and write newspaper articles.
We would like to ask you to help us win a competition organised by The Irish News. Every day a Giant Day Out token is printed in the paper, if we collect enough tokens and send them to The Irish News, our class has a chance of winning a free day out to The Giant’s Causeway!
