Out Boys' team and both Girls' teams had a brilliant day at the St. Patrick's Aghacommon blitz this morning. Both girls' teams played brilliantly well and there were some excellent performances from players who have been developing all year.
In the boys' section our team played some lovely football against strong physical opponents and they qualified for the final against a very good St. Anthony's P.S..
After a hugely intense but enjoyable final, we were delighted to come out on top as winners having scored a pivotal qoal in the final minutes.
A huge word of thanks to Mr. Mackin for organising the matches and of course Mrs. Brown for inviting us over. Final word of thanks also to the Friends of St. Patrick's Aghacommon (F.O.S.P.A.) for the snacks and goodies bags for all players.
