Fit2Help and Big Healthy Breakfast

29th Sep 2024
The boys, girls and team of St. Oliver Plunkett's P.S. have out done themselves yet again with the fabulous Fit2Help and Big Healthy Breakfast that was enjoyed by all today. We started our day with a wonderfully fruity, tasty and above all healthy fruit pot thanks to SimplyFruit, all washed down with a fresh bottle of water that was also generously donated by a parent at the school.
Following the breakfast we all made our way to the yard where Mr. Cullen and the P6 & P7 leadership teams had laid out 20 activity stations for the children to enjoy. We spent a full hour and a half rotating through each of the stations and each coloured team was ably guided and assisted by their nominated P6 or P7 team leader.
And finally, to complete our full day of fun and games, and to give us all a chhance to get our collective breadth back, we enjoyed a Daily Mile stroll in the afternoon chatting with our buddies and finishing off the day in a relaxed and calm manner.
As ever, a huge word of thanks to the team at the school, the P6 and P7 pupil leaders and the kind sponsors of the event for their wonderful support.
