Exploring Colours and Light and Dark in P1
In Primary 1 we have began our new World Around Us topic - Day, Night, Colour and Light. The children have been exploring light and dark in our Dark Tent whilst using various sources of lights and coloured acetates to investigate light and colour. They have been wearing glasses with coloured lenses in our Science Area along with looking at changing colours in our kaleidoscopes and when using our coloured fans.
We used different colours of squared paper to make our own Elmer Elephants. Each of the children also made an animation of a Starry Sky on our Just2Easy computer programmes. (I will try to figure out how to share these on Seesaw with parents) Next week children will be exploring colour mixing in class.
