Our very good friend Dave from Sustrans was in school recently to deliver a Ditch the Stabilisers session to some of our P1 class and their parents/guardians. The boys and girls who participated had a brilliant morning learning how to balance on their bikes with one pedal before graduating to full blown cycling unassisted with no pedals whatsoever. The transformation in their confidence over the space of the 1 hour workshop was simply brilliant and we hope the boys and girls have years of happy, healthy and safe cycling ahead. Yet again, thanks to Dave for helping us and to all in the Sustrans team.
