Our quiz teams were delighted to visit St. Anthony's P.S. in Craigavon last week to compete in the annual Cumann na mBunscol Primary school quiz. The teams were selected after some very tightly fought qualifying rounds in school and the 8 highest scorers were then selected to take part.
Both teams performed brilliantly and one of them finished in a very close 2nd place, beaten only by one point to 1st place on the day. Needless to say we were delighted with how the children behaved themselves and how well they scored in the quiz and we want to thank everyone at St. Anthony's for the fantastic hospitality shown on the day.
Next up for our quizzers is the school's U11 quiz team participating in the Credit Union Quiz in Portadown this coming Friday. All the best to them and maith sibh arís eile to the teams from last week.
