Our boys' 9 a-side panel were in action recently competing in the Malachy McGeeney Medium Schools Section A county final. Each and every member of the panel had played their part in helping the school to reach the final for the 2nd year running having won all our qualifying games. The boys were determined to show their best on the day and they certainly didn't disappoint with fabulous effort and skill. Unfortunately, the lads came up against a strong team in Drumintee who won the game on a scoreline of 15-8. Everyone at the school, in the community and of course in Ballyhegan Davitt's GFC, remain hugely proud of the lads and we know there will be more finals ahead for this group of players.
