Book Fair Success and World Book Day - Thursday 7th March 2024
6th Mar 2024
First and foremost, everyone at the school extends a huge word of thanks to everyone who came along to purchase some books from the Scholastic Book Fair. The fair was a huge success and the school now has the opportunity to purchase a large selection of books for each class library based on the commission gained from all the sales. Thank you so much on behalf of all the pupils. They can all now look forward to the new books arriving very soon. A final word of thanks also to Mrs. Fearon, the assistants and everyone in her class for showing their fabulous leadership skills in running the book fair all week. Maith sibh go léir!
To mark World Book Day on Thursday 7th March, we are now inviting all pupils to come to school dressed in their favourite fictional character costume. This will be a fun-filled day focusing on the joy of reading and we are also encouraging you to send in your son's/daughter's favourite book for them to read during the day. Please ensure your name is on the book so that it will not get misplaced.
