P.1 are enjoying their new topic Day, Night, Colour and Light.
Learning experiences have included investigating light in the dark tent, colour mixing in the Science Area, forming letters in black sand over the light box, making names using coloured, transparent stones over the light box and using light up writing tools.
Pupils have also been revising and learning new High Frequency words using magnetic letters. We have been using stampers and ink to print our satpin sounds and we also enjoyed Ditch the Dark day. What a busy bunch.
