In the first of a series of posts to celebrate the 50 year anniversary, we are delighted to share photos from the commemorative mass and photo exhibition held on Monday night at St. Patrick's Church. Sometimes pictures can say a thousand words and the photos below certainly capture the essence of the wonderful evening that was had by all.
As ever, a huge thanks to each and every person who helped make the night a memorable success including Lisa and all from T. Knox&Sons for the wonderful catering, Mrs. Hendron for the outstanding music, the whole team at school for preparing the exhibition and readying the pupils for the mass, Archbishop Martin and his fellow clergy (Deacon Donnelly, Fr. Sheehan and Fr. Murphy) for the beautiful ceremony and everyone connected to the parish for preparing the church and allowing us to use the hall. We also thank the Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Cllr Sarah Duffy, for also attending and an extra word of thanks also to all the helpers in the hall without who we wouldn't have enjoyed such a wonderful evening after the mass.
And finally, to the pupils, their families and the entire community, a massive well done for turning out in such huge numbers to mark this wonderful event,
