The P6/7 class have been participating in music lessons with All Set, from September 2018. During these sessions, the children learned how to play tunes from our various cultural traditions, on the tin whistle. They also learned about the instruments used and favoured by the different traditions of Northern Ireland.
On Thursday 20th June, our school joined with our Shared Education partner, Derryhale PS, Carrick PS and Lurgan Model PS to perform in Portadown Town Hall. The schools were joined by the traditional music group FastTrad who played some of their session pieces. Parents of the children involved were invited to this brilliant event.
