A Busy Week of Learning in Primary 1
Term 3 has gotten off to a busy start in Primary 1. Pupils have carried out various Learning Through Play activities in the areas of addition and blending. Children are becoming much more independent with their reading and writing.
We have been learning about Spring and as part of this, pupils were measuring Minibeasts using non-standard units and comparing this with using a ruler to measure minibeasts interactively on our Just2Easy ICT programme.
Pupils also cut out shapes to construct their own Spring flower and they then labelled the parts of a flower on the iPad combining ICT and Science.
The weather will hopefully going to start pick up and the children will return to more outside Learning Through Play activities.
