Our newly elected school council sat down today for their first meeting since being elected last week. The councillors were delighted to finally get together and start the process of helping to make the school an even better and more fun place for every child to learn and succeed in.
Our first meeting was led by Mr. Galvin but one of the main points of the agenda was to appoint a Chairperson and Secretary to take control of the meetings into the future. And a huge word of congratulations goes to Sean McCann on being selected as Chairperson and Cian Morgan on his appointment as Secretary.
The first job that the council are undertaking is to go out and gather ideas from their peers on ways to make the school a more enjoyable and fun place to be. Once these have been collected, the council will then prioritise the suggestions and look at ways to put them into action.
