Experimenting With Apples

I mixed orange juice and vinegar and put the apple in. The apple went brown.
I left the apple in the box overnight. The apple went very brown indeed!
I added vinegar and salt to my apple. The apple didn't go brown.
I froze my apple. It was hard but it still went brown.
I decided to add a slice of apple into a bottle of water. Then I put it into the freezer. The apple still went brown.
I put a piece of apple into an empty bottle. Then I squeezed all of the air out. There was only a bit of brown on the apple.
I added salt and lemon juice to my apple and the apple stayed white.
I mixed lemon juice and vinegar and poured it onto the apple. The apple went purple!
I mixed vinegar, baking soda and salt and put the apple in. The apple stayed white.
I put a piece of apple into sea salt and another piece into vinegar and salt mixture. The sea salt kept the apple white but made the apple soggy. The other piece went a bit brown.
We painted a piece of apple with glue and the other piece with nail varnish but the apples still went brown. We put a piece of apple into orange and tomato juice and it stayed white.
